Hamburger casserol


6 ounces dried egg noodles, 3 cups
1 pound ground beef (lean)
Cut a small onion into pieces.
11 c. mixed frozen vegetables
14 oz. pasta sauce in a jar
14 ounces chopped canned tomatoes
seasoning with salt and pepper as needed
1 teaspoon of oregano leaves
1 tblsp basil
12 teaspoons garlic powder
2 c cheddar

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cook the egg noodles according per the package directions. Afterwards, strain and rinse.
Over medium-high heat, brown the minced beef and onions. Remove any excess fat by straining.
Pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, frozen veggies, thyme, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper are all added to the pot. Allow 3-4 minutes for the flavors to meld.
Combine the pasta, meat sauce, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a mixing bowl minutes, or until the cheese has melted and started to boil.
