– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon grated ginger

– 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

– 1 teaspoon ground cumin

– 1 teaspoon ground coriander

– 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

– 1 cup tomato puree

– 1/2 cup heavy cream

– Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened, approximately 5 minutes.

2. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.

3. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until evenly browned on all sides.

4. Sprinkle in the turmeric, cumin, coriander, chili powder, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to coat the chicken, and cook for 1 minute to release the fragrant aromas.

5. Pour in the tomato puree, stirring to combine. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Stir in the heavy cream and continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

7. Garnish the dish with fresh cilantro leaves before serving. Enjoy your Creamy Indian Butter Chicken Delight!
