DORITO TACO SALAD

DORITO TACO SALAD: WOULD YOU EAT IT?

My family has been bringing this delicious salad to potlucks for as long as I can remember. Everyone enjoys a nice taco salad recipe, and everyone will adore this one! A tasty variation on your standard menu is made with seasoned ground beef, freshly chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and of course, Doritos!
Even though I enjoy salads, they can occasionally get monotonous. The monotony of the same old salad that we frequently fall into is definitely broken up by this Dorito Taco Salad. It is not only simple to make but also delicious!

I adore everything taco-inspired, from pasta to casseroles… and specifically salads! If you have leftover taco beef from another dish, it works well in this taco salad. Indeed, I frequently double the batch of taco meat and freeze it for extra-quick meals on busy weeknights.
The remaining materials are straightforward and readily available. Pinto beans and dried sliced black olives are still staples in my pantry. I still have lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, peppers, and sour cream on the side.
Of course, you shouldn’t skip the Doritos; we like the Nacho Cheese flavor for this taco salad, but you can use any flavor you want!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR THIS SALAD:

One large tomato, I diced it.

4 ounces. Of 2% sharp cheddar cheese, I shredded it before using it.

4 ounces. Of nacho cheese Doritos, I crushed it into bite-sized pieces.

A pound.Of lean ground beef.

Reduced sodium taco seasoning, I used one small packet.

Iceberg lettuce, we will need a medium head, chopped into small-sized pieces.

Light Catalina/French dressing, I used a cup.

STEPS:

Step 1:

I started browning the ground beef, using a medium skillet, breaking up the bits until they were browned stirring using my wooden spoon for few minutes.

Step 2:

After that, I added the packet of taco seasoning over the cooked meat and continued to stir until well-combined.

Step 3:

Following that, I transferred the chopped lettuce Into a big mixing bowl, and I added in the diced tomatoes, browned ground beef, and cheddar cheese.

Step 4:

Once it was time to eat, I sprinkled the crushed Doritos over the salad, and I poured the French dressing on the top. I mixed all ingredients again and served them.

This Salad can be prepared ahead of time! The secret is to mix everything in a serving bowl and simply toss them with a French dressing before serving. I hope you’ll enjoy it!!
